derigging a boat and have a pr of Cobra 750's if anyone is interested. less than 5 hours of run time. pushed a 33 fountain to 100+ 30k obo

Yep, but just because they are good for a weekend doesn't mean they are good for 200-300 hours... right?
I wouldn't want to fresh'n motors every week or two.

Have never heard a bad word about them..... but if a company can build 1500HP to last a weekend of racing, they can SURELY build 500 HP to last a few years..

We an a set of the Sterling 510cu.in. B class motors back in the day. Was easy to get 8-10 races on them without a topend refresh. Spinning them 6500-6800rpm. They build top quality stuff from the basic to full race stuff.

Let you know in a few years, Mike has my project now. Claims should see 400 hours before having to refresh if they are properly maintained and driven.
