Coolerman 12-19-2013 03:20 PM

12lb cuts are the ones you want (what Doug/Cafe is selling). $18k is a steal for everything.

Also, if anyone has questions about the intercoolers or our belt tensioner systems, feel free to PM me or call. 612-202-9359 I would be happy to go through the intercoolers and put new o-rings in them and check the seals for free if the buyer wants to cover the shipping.

Nah, just finished disassembling this machine to head out to a customer in Maine.

Not sure what to do with the empty space on my showroom floor now. I think a 5 axis in its place would be great for doing customer demonstrations, for instance, how to machine a supercharger rotor or a turbo compressor wheel!

Sorry to derail the thread Doug....

Can you please PM me the total blower height (from where it would sit on the IC to where the base of the carb(s) would sit)? TY...

WTF????? The Donzi 16 doesn't need these!

SS930 12-22-2013 07:28 PM

So they are 12" to the top of the dominator adapter plate? What is the IC thickness?

Thanks!

There are two plates on top of the PSI. The first plate is used to cut your inlet hole(s) to the rotors (10.75" to the top of this plate, what is normally referred to as the top of the blower). Then you add the carb adapter plate on top of that, which can be vary in thicknesses, depending on if you make your own, or who's you buy.

The intercooler case is 5". The intercoolers Doug bought from us also have an integrated PSI adapter plate. Here are some more specs and pics on our coolers www.pfintercoolers.com

Maybe I should have asked, what's the dimension from the base of the IC to the top of the dominator adapter plate for this exact setup that's being listed here??? I need to check my clearances... Thanks

Should be 11.5" including the carb adapter, but that's assuming Dougs carb adapter is 3/4" thick. You'll have to verify with Doug.

Could someone explain what a 12lb cut is? Did they make different cuts for the PSI B unit?

Thanks,

Tom

206B can have a 6 or 12lb. It's the outlet size that is different, which changes how long the rotors can compress the charge. It basically puts the blowers peek efficiency at a different part of the map.

cole v bottom 02-03-2014 08:01 PM

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone have a pictures of the different outlets? I bought one used and have no idea which cut it has.

Thanks,

Tom
