2X 2001 Merc HP500efi's long blocks
 

2001 Merc HP500efi long blocks, 600+hrs, freshwater only, engines have never been disassembled and still have the factory Mercury seals.
Both ran when removed, Starboard engine runs excellent, Port engine started popping through the intake under heavy load.
On shipping pallets and ready to ship.

Assuming the lower intakes are not included? Do they have the Merc. H beam rods?

I did not remove the lower intakes because I did not want to break the factory Mercury safety wired seal that proves the the engines have never been disassembled, the engines are for sale with or without the lower intakes.
The engines are OM05XXXX which included the 614-8M8020323 Manley H-beam rods.

Any way to check compression on the port engine?

Indication? I assume you have an idea ...

I assume it has a roller cam. That would rule out a flat lobe. How about a leak down test?
