Congratulations , there awesome boats, 2 of my buddy's own the 2 that where made with single steps. Enjoy it, she'll be fast with 700's.

kidapache 01-20-2014 09:26 PM

I did not think anyone made a 37ft apache? a 36ft apache all day long

Lucky1456 01-20-2014 09:51 PM

Congrats Mike.

Sick Stinger 01-20-2014 10:23 PM

Yup 37 Apache read the boat. Going to bevy he badest apache yet. #6 with 1550 sterlings sping 17 1/2 35 5 blades. Now that's an apache.
And thanks everyone for the comments. Nykamp please if you could post pics and some info/insit to the other apaches that your friends own very interested and intrigued

kidapache 01-20-2014 10:40 PM

I all most bought this one full staggered set with #6 drives it was to much money i got the 41 for the same price

Keith Atlanta 01-22-2014 04:19 PM

I am still pissed that you got this boat.... LOL

I am not a fan of classic styling but I like the 37. ALOT

Sick Stinger 01-23-2014 06:52 AM

Sorry Keith, but as they say everything has a price. It just could be yours.

Panther 01-23-2014 10:38 AM

Congrats Sick Stinger!! Awesome boat and best of luck with it!

It's the same as a 36' Apache Boat Kidapache. I believe it was deemed a 37' when they added the twin step insert under NewTech. Does it have the APH HIN or the NewTech HIN? I beleive all the Singles had APH HIN's.

Panther 01-23-2014 10:41 AM

Sick Stinger, you may want to check in with Bobby regarding the step ventilation and see if you can do it on your 36'. Once ventilated it REALLY unlocked some speed in the 42' Chief!

Sick Stinger 01-23-2014 11:21 AM

Panther I was thinking about contacting bob, if e is in the board I'd rather PM him then calling and nothing him. Thanks For the input. What type of venting are you referring to.

Griff 01-23-2014 09:23 PM

Bob S is on OSO and posts in the Chief Forum. I'm sure you'll figure out his screen name:lolhit:

Unlimited jd 01-23-2014 09:59 PM

Bobby has been contacted on this boat before. The ventilation was covered back up on the f2 boat.

On the Chief then added thru hull vents behing the first step and it picked up a lot. On the last 42' they got it dialed in even further.

If you have holes in the bottom behind the first step, yours is already vented.

I would take a looksee! And of course consult Bob. He's not a big board guy so email or phone might be best.

I considered bidding on your boat in the auction and swapping my power into it. Oh well! :-)

Welcome to the tribe!

Any idea why it was covered back up?

Unlimited jd 01-25-2014 06:57 AM

What I heard was third person. Iirc the handling wasn't as good and it did not pick up speed. I've been in and have run the f2 boat. It's incredible how it runs. Flat river it runs fast and no porpoise, turns on a dime at high speed with no slip, rough water flys straight and smooth

sparky24 01-25-2014 06:14 PM

damn dude moving up and in a big way
