Back from Arizona, keep the offers coming, send PM to setup visit to see the boat, thanks

Good luck with the sale. Someone will see the potential in this boat and scoop it up. Put your bottom line price on it and let it ride

fantastixvoyage 01-30-2014 12:22 PM

Where are you at price wise?

stringer bell 01-30-2014 03:51 PM

I will take best offer I get, so tell me what its worth to you and worst I can say is no.

I am also interested in engine/drive package if anyone is selling in 25k range, maybe I will put it back together as winter project

Wait a minute. You were afraid of a power washer and now your going to put engines in??? Somethings not right here. And saying "Not having experience in boats makes me hesitant" No one in Fl has looked at this yet either?

Boat is just west of West Palm Beach......probably 75 miles from Miami for anyone going to the boat show.

This is a 5-10K hull/trailer IMO.....too much missing/unknown. To many other options out there that are running boats for 50K or less and this boat would hit 50K long before it ever hit the water!

How hard can it be to install engines and drives. All the mounting brackets and holes are already there. I was in Phoenix and nobody had access while I was gone.

I'm with Smokin' Gun on this one.
If you have ANY mechanical ability and some time, it's an easy clean up. Engines and drives are a dime a dozen right now and formula still stocks parts for their older boats if you happen to need a model specific part. To those who say you can get a lot of boat for 50K......probably not this boat and then you are buying somebody else's problems??? If you clean up the boat yourself, and put engines and drives in yourself, then you know you have a reliable boat that has been gone through and probably less likely to find any surprises down the road. Of course it ultimately depends on what it sells for..... If you are one of those who has a mechanic or shop do everything for you then this is definitely not the boat for you and yes you will be in it more than it's worth.

just my .02 and yes I have taken on many a project like this and know what I'm talking about ( I've never lost a dime on one)

1. If the seller won't give the boat an hour mop/soap down then not sure he would rig the boat appropriately
2. 50K boat can be sea trialed/surveyed, this can be guestimated at best especially not knowing the history
3. You could be Reggie Fountain and still spend a fortune putting this boat back together. The trailer could cost you 3-4K to make road worthy if it needs tires, hubs, brakes, springs etc.
4. What happens if you get 50K deep (including purchase) and the boat still isn't done? Oops......Got 50K spent and it still needs X,Y, Z for another 10-12K.....now the guy that spent 50K on a running boat really looks smarter!
