pair of 383's 400 hp 460 lb/tq for Sale
10 Attachment(s)
I have finally decided to post this nice pair of SBC that i built for myself last year for my Wellcraft Nova that ended up selling to a great guy here in OSO when i found my beautiful 272 sr1 which is running great with 454's with no issues after 100 hours of use, so i didnt want to swap engines,I just kept the 383's for a while just in case i needed them and I decided to sell them now,ALL NEW PARTS have over $20,000 invested in them Including all accesories P/S pump,New Stainless Marine Manifolds and Risers( Risers bought them used but pressure checked by SM) Marine MSD ignition Box(blue ones)MSD distributor,MSD Hi Performance Blaster Coil ,Bob Madara designed and provided the Hydraulic Roller Cam and also the PBM lifters to go with it) Block is reconditioned .30 over.
built by Power Source Distributor in Miami(30 years of experience) and also Dyno tuned by Mesa Balancing Racing ( Laz Mesa).Engines are very conservative, and were built looking for reliability. I did not want to push them for more HP, Note that the 400hp are obtain at 5200 rpm and the peak torque of 460 lb/tq at 3000 rpm and maintaining it further up in the power band. Here you have more specs: Edelbrock alum Performer cylinder heads 70 cc Performer Edelbrock Air Gap intake Eagle rotating assembly (hypereutectic pistons) Forged crankshaft PRW 1.5 alum roller rockers Bob Madara (Marine Kinetics)Hydraulic roller cam LSA 112 Duration @ .50 222/228 valve lift .532/.524 PBM roller lifters Holley Double Pumper Marine Carbs 750 cfm 398 Hp @ 5200 rpm 460lbs/tq @ 3000 rpm Cylinder heads Edelbrock Performers specs Combustion chamber volume 70cc Intake runner volume185cc Exhaust runner volume65cc Intake valve diameter2.02" Exhaust valve diameter1.60" Valve stem diameter11/32" Valve guidesManganese bronze Deck thickness5/8" Valve spring diameter1.46" Valve spring maximum lift0.575" Rocker stud3/8" GuideplateHardened steel Pushrod diameter5/16" Valve angle23° Exhaust port locationStock Spark plug fitment14mm x 3/4 reach, gasket seat For any further info text or call Diego 7862023847 Price : $12500 for everything you see in the pics including new Stainless Marine Exhaust as described above. |

This is a great buy. I have $15000 in my 355's with Mercruiser OEM CI Exhaust!!
The way Diego built these motors they would make a great pair of drop ins for a Cruiser with tired BBC's or a serious replacement for tired 350 Mags in a 292 FasTech or something similar. These motors were built for the long run and will give some one years of reliable high performance service. |
Bumping this for ya Diego. Should also consider powerboat swap shop on Facebook.
I dropped a link on PBSS to this for ya man |
Excellent package for a light under 30' twin! Great guy to deal with no worries buying from him, good luck Diego!
