Nice package, good luck with the sale. Don't be discouraged by people knocking down what you are selling. If they don't like it then don't buy it. Easy.......Next

Price is realistic, ask me how I know. GLWS.

Iron heads make more heat this making motor power all the way around. I guess he never heard that before.

My guess is the iron heads are for salt water. Aluminum no likey.
|
If you research it you'll see that an iron head retains more heat in the chamber instead of dissipating it like aluminum and will make more power. Prob is most companies don't make big iron heads like there aluminum counterparts, and in a marine engine there are other ways to make the power while controlling chamber temp and detonation.
But 2 engines with the same heads one cast in iron one in aluminum the iron will make more power |

Go price out a new build, from a custom builder, with those parts, seems to be realistic to me. |

There are a few good head porters left that will port cast iron.
Keith Eickert has been around for a very long time, especially in the race offshore world. He uses expensive parts and i'd guess he charged a lot of money too. I'd pay a lot more for Keith Eickert than a SB's General Repair Shop anyday. |
