I part cobras out all the time, I get same thing.... Worth much more in parts then together when broken or in most cases even running if the car needs paint and has beat seats it's a better parts car due to fixed value, guys say how much whole I give them a number usually 2000.00 less then it's worth in part to me, they whine I am parting and never buy whole day it's not worth it... NO CHIT that's why it's a parts car!! Mike Mello knows we talk about it all the time and laugh

Your actions don't bother me, I even understand your logic. It just seems too close to a being a clean/running boat and I hate to see a Formula "disappear" (I assume it simply needs some routine maintenance and polish?). Some years ago I bought a 382 that had been neglected and brought it back to a beautiful boat.

I think the problem is that the people who would buy this boat ( middle income) have it pretty hard right now. Everything is going up in price and pay is the same. Don't even want to talk about health insurance.... Performance boating is dropping off the map. Look at the builders going bankrupt. But people who still own boats and can afford the fuel prices will enjoy the torn out pieces of a good running boat. So the way I see it, there are more people that could use a " piece" of this boat than people who have the cash to enjoy the ride itself. Sucks.
