Has trim switch. Comes with diodes and all the hardware.

i know the throttles them selves are easy to reconfigure but I wonder how hard it is to flip the trim switch to use these for a RH application...???

paul I do believe its just as easy .mercury marine also sells just the white throttle lever with the red part switch on it .and it would go left or right

Per your pictures the trim switch is set for your left thumb.

How can you tell what is the front of the shifter? If the levers are slanted backwards then it is for a RH application? If they slant forward it is for a LH application.

No. Handles always slant toward the front.

Most of the time, but they can be used either way. It really depends on the angle of the mounting location and dash layout.
Either way, they can be taken apart and reassembled in any configuration fairly easily.
