looking to sell my carbon top gun project. just got a 35 ex project to build and working on buying an apache so thinking about selling this boat so im not obligated to work on it anymore.

the run down- it needs a paint job motors and drives and its ready to go.

-92 carbon boat
-no motors/drives
-ALL RIGGING is there
-interior needs a good cleaning but test cleaned a few pieces and it all cleans up mint.
-myco trailer included. needs fenders and a paint job
-TRS rigged. i have boxes for it to convert to bravo.
-CMI split tube headers can be included

the hull is stripped and prepped ready for paint. all prep work is done and just will need a fresh scuff and shoot it. no rot. structurally sound.

yah i know... LOL oh well. i guess its worse to have other addictions. might be cheaper to have other addictions, i just love building and have crazy ideas for this fountain so i need to move this boat out so i have room to really let the saw zawl loose ;)

DE-Beaking it????? Id build a cig over a fountain, but thats just me.....

Lopping the beak off and redoing the bow would be over the top!!

We're I boat there's 5 fountains per every other kind of boat. The plan to raise the floor and do sit down seating. Left hand steer. Center console throttle. Skater style wrap around windshield. Maybe stagger if I can figure it out but it looks like I'd have to shorten the tanks a bunch so I'm not sure about it. Hard top engine hatch maybe tractor pipes out the top. Should be a cool cool boat

1. any idea how much that windshield os going to run??

2. How big of a market do you think there is for this?


Toad, Mitcher T, lip ship, glassdave etc all make some cool projects, but the get to make them on somebody else's dime AND get paid to do it. You have been at this upstate powerboat thing for over a year, you need to finish something, prove you can deliver and outstanding finished product and actually make money. Sorry to go all Dad on you, but your talking about making something unmarketable and your about to lose your azz again. Any idea how fast the local water cop is going to be up your anal sphincter the first time you wander thru a no wake zone with dry tractor pipes??

I'm not going to build it to resale it. I'm building it just for the fun of it. I'm making a bunch of money here with graphics, and lots of fiberglass repairs. I'm 4 weeks out right now (yes I'm sure glassdave and the like is farther out. I'm not really doing upstate powerboat full Time. It's my side gig and I'm working for my dads company and will take that over down the road. I just like to build. And building something THIS wild will be great advertising for people who see it. Don't worry I'm not trying to flip it lol I just don't want to feel obligated to build this TG if I go build it I'm just going to paint it throw some 600's and trs's in it and down the road it goes. I don't really want to do that though. So someone buy this!!! It can be sold with paint ready for power

amen to that cig 92 he sounds like a young guy with ideas to build what he likes I been doing that for 50 plus years. lost money wasted time but loved every project along the way. still at it it keeps u young at heart and the brain stimulated.just had to throw my two cents in

I have never told the kid he was an idiot or attacked him personally. I HAVE tried several times to save the kid from some painful butt hurt. Hell at one time he was offered the opportunity to work for a shop in my area for a bit to get his hands on bigger stuff and I offered to house and feed the kid for free while he did.
