Complete 708 CID Short Blocks
I have a pair of 708 CID PARTS For Build...These would be perfect for a large vee bottom only needing about 5600 RPMs. Would like to sell as a package deal. Willing to negotiate as dividing of rotating assy and or cylinder heads. These are all new parts..... $30k invested at my cost....I can make a smoking deal if all goes as package...
2 Merlin 11.625 Blocks Billet caps, lifter bores indexed and ready for bushings. 2 DRCE Dry sump Pans 2 Callies Magnum 5.300 Stroke 16 Oliver Billet Rods 7.250 3.5 bolts EDM pin oiling 18 JE custom dished pistons 9:1 with 62 cc heads 2 Jesel Belts drives for raised cam 2 pair Profiler 12 degree symmetrical heads with Alloy valve seats, includes Jesel Pro Series shaft mounted rocker arms with upgrades ARP hardware. 2 Indy blower intakes for 11.625 blocks Polished, will accept injectors and fuel rails after machining. 2 MSD crank triggers 2 MSD 7 marine boxes 2 MSD 7 series coils 2 MSD timing delay boxes 2 MSD flat cap billet distributors for crank trigger |

They were for the choice of two Apache's either a 41, half stagger or a triple that had 2 bad engines.....On a NA, build @ 1.5 HP per cubic inch that's 1062 all day long if not more......Make it a EFI, with 2 2000 cfm TBs on a tunnel ram with it all in by 5600 rpm....

Mark, what is a safe top RPM range to turn an engine with those kind of cubic inches?....is 6000rpm still ok for 708cid in an offshore boat for 5 minutes at a time? Or what are your thoughts?
