I'll let him know you're interested in the flow #'s and see if he has put them on the flow bench. I'm sure he has them laying around.

TruxtonFox 12-23-2016 06:02 PM

Thanks man

I couldn't find the flow sheet when I went to the shop today, but when I talked to Jim today on the phone he said ~350 on the intake @ 0.650". I'll get the sheet after the holidays.

He said ~125. Also, after the holidays I'll have definitive answers.

Just trying to give you guys some idea in case you have to make decisions soon.

TruxtonFox 12-24-2016 06:48 PM

Pretty interested, is it one set or two

One set that I know of. I'll look around the shop and see if he has another set laying around that he could whip up.

TruxtonFox 12-24-2016 10:55 PM

Awesome, let me know, thanks

Talked to Jim Xmas eve and pretty certain 119cc. They sound like an awesome set of heads. Somebody would get a great deal. I asked also about another set but he didn't believe he had another set of matching castings. I actually am interested myself but need another set. You can't hardly get the parts for the price let alone the time that went into them.

Rookie 12-26-2016 12:41 PM

I just left the shop and Jim cc'd the heads while I was there.

GM heads 127cc chambers

Truxton, He doesn't have another set, but he has a couple sets of the EQ320 that he can put together relatively cheap. They are great heads with good flow #'s.
Give him a call. 61688909 two eight

I forgot about the unshrouding for the 2.30 valves and other good guy grinding. I bet they looked good. Rookie he was telling me about some new head that was suppose to be all as good as profilers but we had bad cell ph reception. If you know what he was referring to pm me if you would otherwise I am going down to ship engines next week and going to stop by.

He really likes the EQ 320's. Just a little bowl port and they are good to go. He also has some Brodix SR20's that he is doing for some drag race crew out of Florida. Those are huge flow #'s, but not to boat friendly.

getrdunn 12-26-2016 08:30 PM

He mentioned manufacturer in Texas but who knows. Regardless EQ good head just never heard him talk about them. These here he has for sale would make somebody a great set of heads without spending much money. Bolt on and go.

Rookie 12-26-2016 09:24 PM

When we were at PRI we looked at the Promaxx heads and they also looked good. (old Patriot heads) The new owners changed some stuff and cleaned up the quality at the foundry. I don't know about the Profiler comparison. Promaxx is out of Alabama

JimV 12-29-2016 06:42 AM

Sorry heads sold

Yup I think those might be the ones. Foundry in US or over seas?
