Way too cheap.
what you have there is worth a lot more than $1000
Better do some searching on this site.
Otherwise it will be a real good deal for someone.

widowmak 01-21-2017 09:01 PM

I just paid $2000 for about the same thing with a driveshaft. Good deal for someone who needs or wants a 3" lift

IGetWet 01-21-2017 09:09 PM

Don't hesitate to do business with outonsafari, good guy! Smoking deal here!

outonsafari 01-21-2017 09:39 PM

thanks guys, appreciate the kind words.
the steering arms are 500 bucks a piece new.
you think i should up the price a bit ?

price adjusted.

new box w/ shaft 2849.97
right arm------------- 489.00
left arm----------------459.99
equals ---------------3798.96
plus tax over internet now from cp (left nut)
minus the shaft ----700.00

3098.96 divided by 2 = 1549.48

make a close to that offer

Tinkerer 01-21-2017 10:21 PM

Much better price now. I usually figure I am going to pay roughly half of new price IF the used part is in new or almost new condition.

finishline 01-21-2017 10:40 PM

Would you consider selling the arms?

outonsafari 01-22-2017 03:56 PM

if some one just wants the box, but for now prefer not to split up the package
plus i got pm today so maybe have interested party

Tinkerer 01-22-2017 04:31 PM

It will sell at the price you have - just hold your course. I paid more than that for mine and mine needed to be stripped and re powder coated.

BUP 01-23-2017 02:04 PM

I was really going to buy it the nite posting was 750 for all. But I left it alone cause not sure if that was misprinted and did not want to get into its listed for 750 then after the fact you changed your mind pricing deal..

outonsafari 01-23-2017 09:13 PM

bup,
you help a lot a guys out on the forums w/ part #'s posting service bulletins, and maintenance/ repair tips, etc.
if your interested i'll split the difference 1125. plus shipping

BUP 01-23-2017 10:18 PM

Thanks for the offer I knew it was steal. Like I said I knew or thought it was a misprint / or a mistake so I did not even say I wanted it. Its cool and I respect your end of trying to sell your stuff. I was just saying basically in a nut shell, the feeling would have been taking an advantage of you and your items listed at the first price you listed. Sell it for what its worth hopefully to put more money in your pocket. Good luck to you

.

kmiller 01-30-2017 08:25 PM

Is this sold?

outonsafari 01-31-2017 09:56 PM

wish i seen this yesterday, or earlier today for that matter,

yes i still have it, but i'm negotiating a trade, either way i need to get the parts from the other member, that being said,

if your at all interested in it for the asking price speak up loud and clear and very soon.

kmiller 02-01-2017 07:25 PM

I don't check this enough to communicate on this forum. If you trade deal doesn't happen and you have the box still please just feel free to send me an email. I get those 24-7.

Thanks

BUP 02-01-2017 11:11 PM

Dan your call - Like I said I would do the deal presented and explained to me by you plus you told me overly are not in any hurry. With that said if it means for you coming out a lot better on your parts and money in your pocket , well what could I really say.

Also possible I would think Kyle could get a deal thru Sunsation boats as well or however. Anyways really do not know what else to say nor will make a big deal out of it.

I did get your text - Gen 3 cool fuel but could not make out the coil pic. Thank you .

outonsafari 02-02-2017 08:09 AM

it should be all sorted out by tonight, and will resend coil pic, but they are all obstructed

what hurts the deal is shipping, if i eat it it's like i paid another 100 bucks for my parts, anyone else pays it cuts into whatever they have going on with it.
either way i need those items from you, plus the ongoing service items we talked about.
i'll try to get a hold of you tonight

I have a set of arms if you need just the arms pm me your number

kmiller 02-03-2017 04:15 PM

Yes - I can get deals on parts but your price is good. I'm just not sure I'll see a big gain for the cost. I was just thinking of the look and a clean transom.

Thanks

scsmike 02-03-2017 04:44 PM

Does the motor have to relocate up 3" with this box?

kmiller 02-03-2017 05:01 PM

Yes

scsmike 02-03-2017 05:08 PM

Okay thank you.

Jersey outlaw 02-09-2017 07:22 PM

Box still available

outonsafari 02-10-2017 07:43 PM

still available
pm out to both parties

been all boxed up and packaged nice, sitting in my living room for a week, ready to ship.

Jersey outlaw 02-11-2017 08:17 AM

Where we at with price now ?
Do you have a shaft?
Or carrier bearing setup ?

outonsafari 02-11-2017 09:15 AM

listed at 1500. plus shipping,

make me an offer plus shipping.

no i do not have shaft.

imco box uses 1 foot longer shaft so no bearing carrier like in the stellings box

Jersey outlaw 02-11-2017 09:27 AM

Working on setup on boat
Think we need to run the carrier
The typical imco shaft length won't work for are application
New box is 1799 so looking at are options
Really looking for a stellings but may Bolt on an imco

Jersey outlaw 02-11-2017 09:27 AM

And your location if we were to ship ?

IGetWet 02-11-2017 10:11 AM

I think you'd really like how the 3" box makes the boat feel, speed and rougher water capabilities. Brought my propshaft to 4-1/4" below the bottom and I was still able to get 7% slip with a stock 26 bravo 1. Actually didn't raise the propshaft 3" though, more like 2-5/8", I guess because of transom angle? Either way it's worked out well for me so far.

Jersey outlaw 02-11-2017 10:16 AM

We ran the stellings on are old boat. Purchase of new boat and owner decided to sell the stellings box office of it. We like the performance and characteristics of the boat with the +3. Unfortunately with the setup I believe we need to run the Jack shaft.....what to do ? Reaching out everywhere to see if someone can kick up a stellings.

IGetWet 02-11-2017 10:28 AM

The imco box does require you to raise the motor, I like because then in my boat I could reach underneath the motor. it retains the coupler con the motor. What makes you think you need the stellings with your setup?

I might know someone who has a stellings, but the imco box would be my first choice

as it happens, i have a complete drive-line with new carrier bearing, new hanger bearing, new input shaft.
the drive shaft needs ujoints, balance and paint but it is not in bad shape and it is not trashed.

i also have 2 bellhousings, 1 w/ machined starter pad for use w/ top mount starter and rear offshore plate.
1 top mount starter for use w/o the rear offshore plate

either work w/ bottom mount starter.

i also have all jackshaft solid mounts front and rear, billet solid pedestals and cast aluminum gusseted angle that bolts to the stringers.

all the nuts bolts and washers, bearings and shaft are mercury w/ the majority of those still in mercury bags.

what boat, what stringer width, and when you say the imco shaft isn't long enough i think your moving the engine forward.

with the drive line, you can put the engine where you want it for balance.
the drive can be on the transom, on an its, or on an imco as all three input shafts on the drive plug into the hanger (which hangs on the inner transom plate)

4 corner engine mounts, solid (not rubber pedestals) adjustable, and for jackshaft

Jersey outlaw 02-11-2017 10:45 AM

The motor is forward approximately 6"
