is this a hp coupler . just standard bravo ?

.number 17 in the parts diagram lists for 600 bucks --- Its installed on OEM Merc Racing 600 SCi and down. Short Aluminum hub version coupler. The link parts diagram is from the Merc Racing 600 SCi

I have same Coupler on my 600 SCi! Looks this is not the standart Bravo coupler but i was wondering why Merc takes this System on a 600 HP.
In partslist from the 600er is also list the long steel coupler!!!
Can anyone explain? Michael

this is the HP part number. 861523a11 it has the hardened steel splines and a snout that protrudes past the coupler with a grease fitting. #21 on the parts list is the hp one.

This coupler ist list on the 600 SCi and i was wondering why! it is standart Bravo coupler.
I have never seen any 496 without the long steel hub coupler.
Maybe it is while the 600 SCi has an Driveplate mounted like list show???
Hard to belive that merc did not mount the HP coupler,but on my 2008 engine ist not HP mount! But it also look diffrent to the standart Bravo coupler! sorry,but cant upload any pics to show!
anyone know why??? michael

Im selling the same coupler Teague sells on his site and its the only coupler he sells online.

Merc lists this coupler for 600 and down.

wrong info it is not part # 21 on the part list. Please relook at it and the correct part numbers that are shown currently.

coupler 861523a11 is what the diesel apps use for low speed operation. and the cost is 813 dollars for it. It is not listed currently THRU Merc on the gas side for any of those apps. things changed.
