if it helps, I have just gone through this with my shifter 33c cable there is quick release clevis hook at the shifter end of cable This part # is mercury #845281 refer picture, they look to be investment cast stainless steel they small but pricey $40-50 each, you need 2 for single shifter https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...bb5999c4f1.jpg |
Actually mine are nothing like that...they screw on the end with a pin type connection and they are included with the sale of the shifter...thanks tho |

No thanks...If I don't sell the whole thing I'll just keep it around for future projects so I'd like to keep it complete
