35 Nordic Flame Part Out
2003 Nordic Flame hull on a 2003 Roadrunner trailer. Hull and interior in near perfect condition, Mitcher T paint, 6 new tires on trailer
All rigging; 380 K planes, HP transom assemblies, hydraulic steering, IMCO fuel valves, everything in perfect working order. 35K (2) Paul Pfaff 700EFI engines. 565ci, Dart blocks and heads. Complete drop in engines with IMCO Powerflow exhaust. MEFI 4A ecu 220 hrs, just did a compression test and leakdown. 150# +-5# on all cylinders, 6%-10% leakdown on all cylinders. Run perfectly 30K (2) Max Machine Works XR drives with all of their upgrades; Full length towers, billet caps with drive showers, big bearings and shafts. 1.50 ratio, 220 hrs. 15K Pair of 32" Bravo 1 props, no dings, never reworked. $600 |

This is a really good looking boat and runs great (fast). It needs to stay together - somebody buy it!

Nobody wants it. It has been for sale for a year and 2 people have come to look at it. Everyone wants a 496 boat so that they can run 70 at WOT instead of half throttle. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

Your boat has super dependable power in it. I'd take your motors over 525s or 496s any day of the week.

I wouldn't even trade them for Merc 700's. they have been flawless, and I am a blower guy.

That 8.1 is overrated, I bet there's been 30 post this year about them having issues

I have personally put 165 hours on this setup in the past 3 seasons, I have changed 1 starter, 1 sea pump and had 1 alternator rebuilt. It doesn't get any more dependable than that.

Well you and I have talked and you know I want it baaadddd just can't financially make it work right this second unfortunately...if my build would have progressed better this summer and it was sold trust me I would have been there to get it already...just don't want to waste a bunch of your time and gas on coming to look and go for a ride when I know I can't swing it right now..if I could like I said I would be there....as for the 496's..personally I have no use for them...sure good turn key motor till something goes wrong like F-2 said but face facts, in these kind of boats everyone is looking for a little more speed and with a 496 you're screwed unless you spend BIG money....I would love the turn key reliability that comes with your motors and hey they're 700 horse as well....seems like a no brainer to anyone looking to run 90+ comfortably and reliably

I have had dozens and dozens of people that have called about this boat, mostly from out West, but no one will drop $400 for a plane ticket to come look at it, they just want to talk about it. It didn't bother me a bit to fly to Havasu to look at it and buy it. I have dropped the price so much that it makes more sense to just part it out.

Wish I would've seen your boat before I bought my 03 Flame with 496s a few months ago. Would have rather spent slightly more for your boat with more power.

Bump for a great boat and great seller. I bought a 509 from joe and a several other parts and couldn’t ask for a better guy and ambassador for the boating community. I’d hate to see this boat parted out, just to nice a setup.. ever thought about doing the raffle thing? Been seeing it a lot lately and has been looking to be a success. I mean I’d kick couple hundred if there’s a chance to own this boat. Even if it was a 1 in 400 chance. |

Everyone wants stock Merc power. Either 496's for the slower crowd or 525's for people who think they are the fast crowd.
