(2) 496 HO Mercruisers Forged Internals now 503
The new engines started off as 496HO mercruisers, the were both bored out to 503 with Weisco forged pistons (PTS524A3), Eagle H beam rods (DGLCRS67003D), factory cranks, balanced rotating assemblies, Melling MELM77HV-81 pumps, Cloyes adjustable timing chains, custom ground cams .557/.557 218/228 112 lobe sep, new valves/guides/seats, heads and block surfaced, new oem roller lifters, chromoly pushrods 3/8"x9.150" & 3/8"x8.200", comp gold roller rocker arms, comp springs/locks/retainers, custom aluminum tall valve covers, ported intakes, felpro gaskets, aluminum exhaust with stainless risers, schwankee stand alone harnesses, tuned with wideband on HP Tuners, marine fuel injectors, 255lph pump/filter on each engine.
The engines have just over 20 hours on them and with 28 pitch props it ran 88mph gps in a 272 SR1. I was going to put whipples on these but now all my kids want it to wakeboard and tube so i bought a moomba. $24k for the pair or $14k each
