I must of had some different intakes. My 10/71s would hang over the hole in the intake for the distributor. I bough a set of 8/71s and they fit but would almost rub the distributor cap. I wished I knew the brand of them. I do remember I had to put longer snouts on. What brand intakes are you running? Im definitely no expert but it cost me a set of 10/71s
