Lunati GenVI EFI Hyd. Roller BBC Cams and Lunati valvetrain new in box
For sale is a pair (2) of Lunati Gen VI EFI Hydraulic Roller BBC cams. These are brand new, in the box and ground on Billet Cores. I ordered these back in January and I just got them a couple weeks ago. With everything on back order it took forever. We sold/upgraded the boat before these arrived so they are for sale.
These are a great upgrade for any 7.4/8.2 or mild build. 226/236 .554/.575 @050 on a 114lsa This is fantastic upgrade recommenced by Lunati for power, torque and great dock manners. Cam card pictured. Asking $400 each. I will separate them if you only need 1. No waiting- ready to go- I also have 1 complete brand new in box Lunati valve train upgrade kit. 73121K3 kit- This is the matched valve train upgrade for the cams. It includes the double springs, the retainers and the locks/keepers. Asking $150 Please let me know if you have any questions. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...9b20acae8c.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c10e14bde4.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...d9170b5c20.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...f47629fd23.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...0ae97e93e8.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...2d7e196071.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...58c5bca5af.jpg |
Just asking what "Billet Cores" means in this case? 8620,5160 etc? If so, is it 2 piece; ie cast iron distributor gear. I think a steel cam core for a GEN 6 has been pretty rare from the bigger cam companies for a while now - if you want steel, you go with a MKIV core. Hope I'm not being a PIA here because I might be interested - just not interested if it's a cast step nose cam at a steel cam price. If its steel with a cast iron distributor gear and step nose, (as I would guess from your description) then I am in for one. What does the description on the packing list say? Maybe a pic out of the plastic? Thanks!.

Here are a few pics of the cam out of the bag and the ends. I am not 100% sure- Lunati recommend to upgrade to a billet steel core over the iron core, so I did. I am asking less than I paid. Thank

I will take one of the cams CJ. These do indeed appear to be a premium steel core. Check your PM's thanks.
