Speedliner 17' catamaran (assembly required)
1976 Speedliner 17' catamaran with a healthy 2.4L 175HP Mercury.
$6950 but let's talk if you are seriously interested.
Currently, the motor is not on it, and the interior is not installed. It needs some effort to put it back together. The motor is on a stand and has been stored in my climate controlled garage. I fogged it and put it away when I pulled it for the transom replacement. The 2-stroke oil injection system has been removed.
I bought this back in 2014 or so, out of Texas.
I took it out one time on a local lake, and the transom cracked. It was actually dry rotted, not wet. I had the transom replaced, and I never put the boat back together.
All cards on the table (regarding what I have in it):
$4000 boat, motor, and trailer
$1800 brand new transom by Steve Knowles with improved knees
$600 adjustable jack plate
$1000 to paint the transom and add a metallic silver stripe down the bow
$2500 brand new interior, never installed, silver & black high end marine vinyl by Ray's Upholstery
I also have brand new cleats and hardware, rub rail, lights, and marine carpet, all new, never installed.
It just needs time to put it back together.
It makes me sick tallying up that I have over $10,000 in this little thing.
There are guys online that have this same boat over 100mph. I had it up to 45mph and it's a RIOT to drive. I love the boat, but reality is I just don't/won't have time for it.
Ideally, I'd love for it to go to someone local. I'd cut a better deal to someone local that will let me take it out a few times once it's complete.
I have clear titles for the boat, the motor, and the trailer. The trailer is sound, just needs the bunks re-carpeted.
(I have the carpet and new wheels and tires for it too!)

Sydwayz, does your 17' cat look like the first Skater - square bow glassed right across the tunnel opening?
