Volvo Penta Transom assembly and drive
 

Ok I know there are not a lot of Volvo drives out there on performance boat but here is what I have incase you have another boat for the family.

1) 8.1 SX-MHP Transom assembly complete with inner shield and drive pump. Was removed from boat found the leak was missing clamp on trim wire sensor, but by then I had bought a new housing $1200.00

2) DP-SM 1.78 Drive hit a rock end of season This is the Dual set up $2000
Top half pulled apart for insurance but is fine has a new cultch and new u joint assembly in 2020. Bottom half not so good bent the shaft and cannot get shaft out, skeg is missing bottom half.

No Props

Located in Connecticut units came off a 2005 rack stored salt water boat.

I need an SX-A 1.78 upper and lower. Hard to find information on whether the SX-A gimbal can use the SX-M (with some adapting) or the DP-SM. Do you know? Thx
