Inflatable paint booth
Selling the inflatable paint booth I just used to paint my boat. Mine is a 35' cafe but it will fit a 38 with room to spare on both ends. You can paint without taking off the trailer as there is a velcro cutout in the front "garage door" through which your trailer tongue can fit through. It uses to 2 blowers to stay inflated (but only needs one running to stay up so there is some redundancy built in) and a third to circulate fresh air into the booth, with 4 panel filters which scrub the air before exhausting. The roof is a bit translucent and the side panels are clear plastic so you get good light inside while painting. All dimensions are shown in the schematic below. I worked with the manufacturer to prototype it, since they previously didnt make one this large and its constructed a little differently than the auto paint booths they make. This model is the 44x20x13 you can check out
which they are now selling for $4900. Mine is priced at $2700 you handle the shipping or come get it in Maryland and I can blow it up for you before you go. Its been inflated 3 times to paint the primer, deck, and hillsides. No problems with it, the booth worked great and definitely helped get the results I wanted considering it was painted in my driveway. Text 443 975 1808

I love the color choice on your Cafe! Beautiful...

Pretty cool and nice work!!! Did you do all your prep work inside of it as well. I’d think dust and debris would be difficult to control.
I’ve never seen one of these but I like it. Good price also. |

I pulled it each time for sanding. Didnt want to get it all dusty inside.
Right after painting the deck white on a supposedly rain free day as the sun went down, I was cleaning up when I got an imminent storm alert on my phone. Opened the radar app and there was a storm line coming right for us. Was panicked as any amount of rain and the tent which has a huge amount of surface area would collapse right on the paint. Wind started howling, drops started coming down, and then magically a break in that storm lined opened exactly at our location as it passed. Dodged a bullet on that one! |
Hit me up if you want it, had a lot of replies on marketplace today but nobody pulled the trigger yet.

Nice setup!!! I'm local. Mind saying who did paint??
Thanks. Ed |
When it's folded up, how big and heavy would it be? Thinking freight shipment.

Hi Ed. You'll remember me, this was the boat before
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...3b02be2d48.jpg I did it together with a guy whose been my paint mentor on the project. He's not local but passes through the area regularly and shoots boats all over the mid-atlantic. He could shoot for you if the prep is done and you have a spot to paint it. Shoot me a message if you want me to connect you 4439751808 |
Sold, thanks OSO

That was a good deal for someone, glad you got it moved out. Recycling tools and parts, the way it should be. Helping each other out.
