Do you have the inner transom plates for these or the drive shafts? Would you separate the transom assembly and one box?

BBYSTWY 03-13-2023 05:33 AM

I believe that stellings don't require a long shaft..I think they have a stub shaft that goes to the engine and you use the standard length shaft that goes into a coupling inside the box....I think...

I have a couple questions....

Where are you located
Do you have the side covers for the big holes in the sides
Am I accurate in my thinking above with the stelling boxes?

you have it right,,but imco does make a long shaft too.thats How I set up my boat,,the imco shaft.

Isn't the idea of the stelling to allow you to run it higher without the shaft binding? I thought I remember reading somewhere there was a reason they designed it that way but can't remember?

Good to know that you can gut the box and run an imco shaft instead! Didn't know you could do that!

Also....anyone have a pic or info on where and how to mount steering arms on these? Imcos have holes for brackets I believe but don't see anything on these?

Thanks

these run a small drive shaft and engine coupler thats to the flywheel you bolt the drive shaft to
Sut30 is right though, best to tun the imco torque shaft

Have these listed for a friend, will go up tomorrow and take pictures of everything it comes with

no mount option on the boxes,,steering rams have to go to the transom.

Hi, would you sell the two bearing carriers alone? About how many hours are on them?

Kevinformula353 10-06-2023 11:36 AM

Sorry, I just noticed that you sold them. I am looking for a set of the Stellings bearing carriers if anyone has them for sale please message me. Thank you.
