Hi John...How well did the Crank Driven water pumps work for you❓
Why is it that you only have a few hours on them❓....did they not work out for you correctly or what❓ Will they work on a Supercharged (Roots style or Whipple) Blower setup❓ What was your experience with them❓ Also curious as to why you're selling❓ Thanks 👍 |

Sorry about the double post I don't know why or how it exactly happened. 😬

I have them on my 600 horse 509s with closed cooling in the Formula and they've been great. Never an issue with either pump and the plumbing was much simpler. I changed an impeller once while trying to troubleshoot the port engine being warmer (sensor issue), and it was ridiculously easy to do compared to the Merc pump.
If you guys aren't interested, I may grab them for the Cigarette. I'm going to redo some plumbing in the spring and these would help. |
I purchased new for my 565’s. Absolutely loved the easy and neat plumbing but jumped the gun to quickly when I was heating up with WOT runs. When I converted back to bravo/trs pumps I had the same problem. Problem solved when I went 1 1/4” hose to my stellings. Hate to admit what an idiot I was for not recognizing the choke points from the AN fittings on my previous set up.
If they don’t sell I’m going to convert back to these for the simplicity and ease of plumbing and maintenance. tks John |
They do move some water.
During long cranking coming out of hibernation, they would fill the exhaust and start draining out the tails pretty quickly. Granted, mine are closed cooled so they didn’t have as much to fill, but was still pretty impressive. |
