What is the the purpose for removing the hub diffuser ?

Removed for speed gain, added rpm, less drag

Every ounce counts! It’s crazy that little would make a difference. How much gain do you see in the RPM ? And in MPH ?

Not really noticeable on my setup. I've seen Bblades and Hydromotive say 1-2 mph.

I guess if you have access to a lathe it could possibly be a cheap gain if it worked for application.
