Wow! I thought this was kind of a joke! I never heard of such a book. I guess if you are not educated on how to modify a marine engine, $60 is money well spent!
|
I remember back about 20 years or so ago when Dennis Moore was once an OSO Member often contributing in the Technical Q & A Section here on OSO.
|
Wow, the next cheapest one is $200 on Amazon...
If you let me borrow for a bit I can scan it into a PDF for us all to have |
Never seen the book...but I suspect the OSO historical posts are far more informative than the Dennis Moore book. It'll have good information, but dated and limited.
I would certainly buy a copy at a reasonable price. Very odd that HP Books doesn't re-print technical books that go insanely priced on the used market. Lost opportunity. |
Wait what?!?!?!?!?. I've been walking by my copy in my office shelf for the past 15 years....How the heck did it get so expensive?
|
I still have my copy. It has some good info about tweaking the Mk IV and GenV Merc black engines and it has tone of specs and part numbers them as well.
