This Site & Issues

Sorry to be a buzz kill during the holidays...

I typically always had a paid membership until the site issues just pretty much drove me away from that.

I've tried creating my classified ad (paid) 3 times today and after typing all of that info in the box 3 times only to have it erased along with the pictures that you have to keep uploading after every failure,,,,, I give up.

The powers that be should take note if they care. But I'm not messin' with it any more. I'll eventually sell my scrap box of-a-boat.

Cheers!
jt

Sounds like the pictures might need to be resized? Try doing it with one picture first and see if it goes up. Then you can always modify the ad to add the extra pics and text.

How do you resize other sights are automatic

At home I run Firefox and there is no problem. At the office it is Internet Explorer and the site always gets hung up (I do not se it with any other sites) and I have to reload. Maybe I should just work more at the office.

same here...have to double-click everything on oso (ie)

Anything that takes more then 5 seconds to do I always right click the mouse and "copy" it just to be safe. And that's if I didn't write in Word Pad in the first place.

Again, not to be snotty but when you're going to pay a site 35-55 bucks for boat listing, you'd think they would have at least that portion of the site dialed in.

And yes, if you're paying, put the darn auto-resize feature in there. Of course I'm smart enough to make a picture smaller it's 2012 and sites should have their limitations embedded if only to make it fool proof when you're selling space.

:lolhit:

... And I have no idea who Heather is.

Agreed, extremely tough to do when you are trying to post several ads. It takes a minimum of an hour per ad by the time i resize my photos and move on to the next. I agree, my ads run $75 each and I have given up as well. I have even tried to put different pictures in existing ads from the same album that the others were uploaded from and it keeps kicking them....what has changed????????? I spend on average $500 to $1000 a month advertising here.
