Unable to view pictures on forum
 

Keeps telling me I am not logged in, also tells me i need to upgrade membership to view jpegs and screen turns black

Are you still having this issue? Is it on all the sections of OSO?

Please tell me what you're doing, click by click, link me to the thread you're trying to view pictures on, etc. And let me know what device/browser/version you're using and the exact error you're getting. Then I can have tech look into this.

Same issue here. Some pictures in the "Show your shop" thread in General show up but some do not. Sometimes the whole post just has the links and some have maybe 2 pics but the others don't show. When I click the link states I don't have permission. I log in go to the thread and they don't show, back out and re-enter and still same. Windows 8.1 Explorer 11.0.14

Please provide me with specific examples (links to threads, an error or screen shots) so the technical team can find a resolution

Any thread that has pictures in it.

I can only see about 30% of the pictures I'm trying to view. When I cant see the picture it looks like a link to a jpeg, and when I click on it, a pop up comes up and tells me the following.

You do not have permission to perform this action-Please refresh the page and login before trying again

It doesn't matter if I log in on my home computer, work computer, IPad, and my IPhone. its always the same, which tells me its something connected to my account.

I need help to resolve this.

We're hoping this is resolved now. Let us know if not, and thank you for your patience all!

I can only speak for myself, and its not fixed completely yet. Its improved from about 30% to around 60% of the pictures I can see now.

Better but not there yet.

please post a LINK (not a title) to a thread where this is happening for you.

All you have to do is copy what's in your browser box and paste it into this thread.

Also, if you have not already, tell us:

1. What device you are using (pc/mac/iphone/tablet)
2. What browser and version you are using

Also: try turning off any plugins you are running (they can interfere with the site), try switching to a different browser and see if it goes away.

This is no longer an issue for me.

You need to have a paid membership to post pics directly on OSO.
The other option is to host them on a photo sharing website and link them.

Why??

It has always been that way. Its an incentive to become a paying member.
Storing and hosting pics costs money.

You can host pics on a photo sharing website and link them without a paid membership.

Try to look in your profile settings. There are check boxes related to different options for the site. You may have the allow photos box unchecked or it may be your setting if you are on a mobile device.

Are you on the full site or mobile device site???

The mobile site does not have pics.
