Double Posting all over the forums
 

I noticed last night that there were a lot of double posts by several members. I hard deleted about 10 of them.

It double posted several of my replies to threads as well.

When I hit the "Post Quick Reply" I would get the "Are you sure you want to leave this page" question box. Whether I clicked "Leave this page" or "Stay on this page" it still double posted my reply.
This is with Windows 7 and IE

The site seemed to running slow at some times and normal at others.

Also, the "Report Post" function is not working

I had a double post with an ipad also. I'm inclined to think its an IB or V bulletin issue. Several of my favorite forums are glitching. Slow and unresponsive.

Seems like the board is running much faster today

Are the double posts still happening or is this resolved?

Still happening quite a bit but not in every post reply.

It seems like it happens every time I Reply With Quote

It did not happen in previous post where I quoted the last reply in the thread.
Testing now to see if it makes a difference when I quote something out the middle of a thread

It stalls when you hit "Post Quick Reply" then after about 5 seconds comes up with the Windows Internet Explorer Box that says LEAVE THIS PAGE or STAY ON THIS PAGE.

If you LEAVE it will double post. If you STAY it does not post at all.

The site is f*ked up. his issue is rampant. Been happening to alot of people, me included, but some of us know ho to get around it which is a real pain the azz.

Is any tech person from the site reading this and trying to fix ?

Ads and a slow uplink from the shared hosting the site is on is causing it. Mostly the ads from third party sites are slowing things down in a big way.

IBxAnders and IBobi will try and get it fixed.

I'm not having any issues with the speed of the site overall. It seemed slow for a day but seems to be running normal speed now.

It seems like the board is back to normal. I have not seen any double postings today.
