Wakeboard tourney's this year?
 

Bhyatt and tow'n'one, you guys know what's going on this year for the tournaments?

I hear Billy is out of business and assume there won't be a board bonanza.

I'm sure Wakefest is still on.

If anyone knows of any dates, let me know. Trying to plan out some vacation time and want to come back down this year.

Also, we're going to Brostock in Bull Shoals, AL in June if anyone wants to caravan or split some rooms. I'll be taking my Supra if it isn't broke.

I haven't heard of any dates being set on local tournaments yet. Billy did close TN Tige, but that doesn't mean their won't be a board bonanza. Aqua Sport Marine may carry on the BB name, at least I hope they do. I would look for dates to be mid-late July for Aqua Sport's deal and 1st or 2nd weekend of August for TNT's Wakefest.

I'll try to find out dates and post back. You'll have a blast at BroStock.

What is Aqua Sport marine? New dealer in town? Glad to hear they may keep the tradition going. Sorry to hear about Billy.....

Aqua Sport Marine came about after Performance Marine closed shop a while back. Mastercraft dealer. Not sure who owns it, but my buddy Lee Tudor works there. You may know him from his days at Ski Hut and then at Performance. Aqua Sport has a shop right at Hurricane Marina exit by Center Hill Lake and have another temporary shop at Andrew Jackson Pkwy and Old Hickory Blvd. I saw on Facebook where they will be opening a new shop in Lebanon, tn. They do have a link for Board Bonanza, but I do not see dates yet. I would check their website and www.tntwatersports.com for those local tourney dates.

I know who Lee is, we talked to him at Ski Hut when we were looking at boats in 07. I remember him moving to Performance shortly after that.

I'll watch out for the dates to be set. Hopefully we can make it down there this year.

Thanks for the heads up, I had heard about the permits. I was about to wonder how much of a coincedence it would be for all the local powerboaters to launch and drive off at the same time.

both canceled due to TWRA event permit issues.....:poopoo:
