KY Lake Fun Run
 

Are they doing the fun run up at Kentucky Lake this year? Anybody going?

Word on the street is that they still plan to do it on June 18th. It's not really an organized run as I understand it... so no parties, dinner, etc... I don't even think they're doing cards or an entry fee. Last I heard the plan was to gather on Saturday morning at KY Dam Marina and run somewhere (Fat Daddy's???) for lunch.

That is what I heard also... It's just a run to Fat Daddys for lunch. We are going...got a cabin at Moors.

Sounds good. We will plan on going. A run down to Fat Daddy's and then hanging out at the Rock Quarry sounds like a good way to spend a Saturday.

That same day (June 18) there is a Grand Opening of Eagle Bay Marina with a live band (Syndicate of Soul) playing 8:00pm to 11:00pm. Fat Daddy's is about mile 68 and Eagle Bay is about 85.5 so it only about 17.5 more miles south it is located on the east side of the river. They have done a lot of work there with all new docks white sand beach. That band is from Dickson and has a big following, should be a lot of people. I just want to let you know if you are looking for something else to do that day.

You going to do the Lake Cumberland PR on June 25th?

We're going to miss that one. Still contemplating JOTJ. Are you running the KY Fun Run?

No we are going to miss that one, headed to Jacksonville FL PR this weekend and then to Lake Cumberland on June 25th.
If you need information were we are staying at JOTJ give me a shout.
