Wife and I were on Conroe 5/6 and Wolfies going strong. Not sure who told me they were closing but obviously not true.

Anyway, had posted in SE section.... sister in law bought house on East side of lake Livingston north of Park. Anyone know which ramp will handle my 33 Scarab? Spoke with Beacon Bay and he said he should be able to handle. Know its shallow, will just stay in middle and run a bit . Used to Galveston and Conroe.... hate learning new body of water. Have heard its shallow with lots of stumps.

SHALLOW and LOTS of stumps. Not a straightforward lake at all. Stumps in the middle of the lake come up out of nowhere. You MUST use a topo map and talk to locals. I had a 22' Formula some years back and I found that lake essentially unusable due to the extreme stump danger. That was about 20 years ago, it might be different now. In one afternoon I hit stumps and/or ran aground 5 times. Never went back.

Hi Tom!!! What boat you got now? Still got the 40?

Hi Andy, don't have the 40 anymore. I sold it to a guy in California that keeps it at Lake Havasu. We bought a 42' RV Toy hauler and a CanAm SxS and been doing trail/desert/mud riding. Marianella really loves getting muddy....LOL

That's great Tom! Miss you guys. We ought to have some sort of reunion of the old Baja bunch. We still got the 42 Fountain and I never rebuilt the 525s. Still runs fine. Ever hear from Busta or any of the old bunch? .

Miss seeing you guys also, we should get together and talk about old times. We still see Busta and Cari from time to time. They also bought a House on Lake Conroe. We see Big O and the group from N Texas a lot as we ride SxS with them. He still has his Baja. Have not seen Keith in a while, last time was Xmas at a friend house.
