Like April maybe that way the water will be warmed up enough if we wanted to go hang in LC. What about leaving out of the Galveston yacht basin?? That way there's security and such for our rigs, well behind a gate at least... Golden nugget would be sweet any idea on an anticipated opening??

I am a tax acct, early spring sounds great but can we plan for April 16th or so.......... the first couple weeks are a bit bizzy...... not sure why

Ran into my buddy from the Nugget… He told me they are looking for a November opening in Lake Charles. I told him I am going to yank his butt to a Topps meeting. He is game and they (The Nugget) want our crowd with the boats…

I told him I thought it would be cool to have a East / West poker run and everyone meet at the Nugget. I know the runs are not that easy and take a LOT of time to put together. This may be two years in the making but I got the go a head by the top to discusses this… So I'll see what everyone wants to do and keep everyone posted.

I hear there's a new resturant opening on the water in Port Neches. That's about half way for the folks coming from Galveston way. You would turn at Sabine Lake and head north up the Neches River for about a mile. Not heard about Docks yet, but do know a lot of people in the area are pushing for it.

There is a new place opening on the River just a few miles north of the inter coastal in Port Neches...should be open in a month supposedly. Called the Neches River Wheelhouse Look it up on Facebook.

IF you guys make this trip post up on the Texas Big Boats Facebook page....theres probably a few of us from the Beaumont Area that would be interested in meeting up at maybe the new restaurant and heading on over to Lake Charles with everyone.
