Topps casino run??

I heard that TOPPS might have another casino run later this year?? anyone hear anything about it??

THLWL 07-24-2007 09:24 PM

Mark,

My boat is still in a thousand pieces. As soon as Mercury, Corsa, or BT gets off their asses, I'll be back running. As soon as I prove my motors, I'll be running to Casino! I'll give Don a run for his money (of course he'll have to take the SeaRay and not the NorTech)!

Keep us posted: my "newly rebuilt" port drive is shipping from Florida tomorrow.
I'm also having some pier rash repaired. It's always something:angry-smiley-044:
Plan a party, it'll get better!:party-smiley-020:

IF you guys want to get together and organize something, Maybe first, second weekend september, we have quite a few guys who couldn't make the run earlier this year because of mech failures. We are up and running now and would love to do the Casino run.

Jeffman,

We defintely have a Clear Lake group wanting to make another run. I think September may also be a good time also. I heard the Thurs night pool parties at L'Auberge are out of control! I may have to jam over on a Thurs afternnon.

Keep in mind that there are several runs and poker events scheduled for the first couple of weeks in September.
Mike Thomas Benefit 9/15/07
CLPBS poker run 9/8/07
TPA poker run 8/31/07--9/01-07
End of September would work good.

THLWL 08-05-2007 10:39 AM

Gerrit - I agree. You need to get that big boy running. You think you will make Destin? I'm at 7 1/2 weeks downtime right now.

Frank - Yes, you can lead. However, my GPS has a big red "X" on a spot to avoid after leaving the casino on way back!!!!! T

Mark,

There is something you can do since you offered. Ask Don L. if I can borrow his 43 Nor-Tech until my boat is running!!!!!!!!!!!

You're the best - Tommy

My neighbor at CLMC Pier E just got his 38 Fast Tech back in the water this past Saturady. He has been down for almost 4 months with 525 probloms on both engines. The fellow with
the Sunsation was down for 3 months with the same water
intrusion probloms.

Boats are like Jaguar automobiles - you need two - one to drive while the other is being fixed.

Or you can buy new like Norman with the 38 FastTec did and myself. Then you won't have any problems for a "long" time!!!!

Is it clear yet whether its engine, headers, switchable exhaust, or application thats at the root of these reversion problems???

Tommy-
So true: that's why I usually buy a "used" boat and build it myself.

I got lucky, did you read about my great #6 drive experience with Craig Colabella? It's in the General Forum.

John

So who in the CL group is going to Destin?

THLWL 08-09-2007 07:46 AM

We've got a few regulars going - Major Woody, Tommy G., etc. Ken A. has a 58' Viking and he's leaving Sat. to jam over. Look him up if you go. His boat name is High N Dry. He also has someone pulling over his 35' Fountain. Hope y'all have fun.

38Roars 08-14-2007 11:44 AM

Can someone give me some details of the previous run..
138 miles, what route did you take? How many boats?
Any support boats follow? How much of the run was offshore,
and how much in the ICW?

38Roars,

I sent you a PM with the Casino run info. attached.

Tommy

Thanks Tommy, I think many of my Donzi friends in Dallas and Austin would be interested in a future run there.
