What is tongue weight for a triple?
I am now the proud owner of a trip alum trailer for my 31 and have a couple questions for my brothers and sisters on OSO.
-Should tongue weight be 10% of entire load as with duals?
-are there any drive guards available that can be retrofitted to my trailer for a little more protection to the wheels/drives?
see pic of trailer in question-
Thanks in advance (as always)

Just bought a trailer that looks exactly like that. I can tell you 2-3% was way to low and it swayed on the highway. At 800lbs (10,500 fully loaded) it ran well.

Troutly & t500hps; great info thanks, I will keep to 7-8%.
CMG: thank you the spaces in the wheels are large enough to show off the calipers, I am also happy with the looks.

Usually 10-12 % tounge weight is reserved for travel trailers that have a greater amount of wind resistance,,, Since boats are more aerodynamic, usually 7% is acceptable..
