Thanks. I am installing clear cab lights and sanding the mirrors down and painting them white for the next changes.

This site lists lenses for 05 silverado. Doesn't say if they fit the HD though. http://www.lightlens.com/chevytrucks.htm

Yep...actaully did ok on it. It looked great and ran like a bat out hell. The guy drove it....I dont think he had driven a hot rod duramax and had to have it. I need you to sand and paint my mirrors. When can you get to em?

The LLY was introduced in 20041/2. If you buy a new duramax it is an LLY. It has another 85 ft lbs of torque than the original LB7 engine.....but it has a ton of emmission control on it. If you modify the engines, the LB7 runs cooler, lower egts, and smoother power delivery. If you get a 2500 with a duramax, it is an HD. I believe a 3500HD is 1 1/4 ton and looks a little different.
