Does a locker on a truck have the same effect my camaro has? I put one in my camaro and hate the thing when I make a slow moving turn I get so much wheel hop and cherping and it eats tires.

I've got a 96 crewcab 454 truck with 6 inch lift and had 36 inch tires on it with 4:56 gears perfect ratio for towing definatly go with the detriot locker it fits in the stock carrier on a corperate 14 bolt rear and works great I have around 52000 miles on that combo went to 38 " tire and 4:88 gears now love the truck just can;t seem to let her go .had a 2003 with a duramax great truck but I just love the 96
