LED's

I just purchased LED taillights for my trailer, my question is....Do I splice right into the old wires from the conventional bulb lights after I remove them?

Usually the plug on the back is the same if you buy the right ones. But yes you can splice into them, they are still 12volt.

The flasher is not effected with the trailer lights. Yes, you can splice it in.

I agree, I have a bunch of LEDs to install on my trailer and it is the list of projects. I am going to run new wire (tinned) and solder/heat shink everything). Wiring cause more light issues than then the lights themselves.

Just remember that polarity is important with leds, if they are not the plug in kind you should make sure they are working before making permenant connection.
