If you really compare the cost of building a truck to the cost of building a boat you can see how bad we are getting $(^&@&! just to have reason for the ladys to show off that new bikini. Now that I think about it, it seems ok :evilb:

The answer I use in that situation is;

-You must of mistaken me for someone who gave a fu@k about what you "feel".

Or

-Jump back in your Volvo put your beret on and go rubb yourself on tree bark while thinking of baby seals to get yourself off... maybe you'll relax a tad afterward...

For my Putnam XDR, I bought from here. Great price and shipping was only like $24 or so.

Lady, I'd love to stand here and argue with you all day, but your c*nt stinks so bad it is making me sick to my stomache.
She will forget all about your boat. Problem solved! :drink:

Had to upgrade my 2004 F-350 hitch from the class 3 that was from the factory to a class 5. Added rear airbags to help level the load and changed my 2 5/16 ball mount to a clevis mount. Still pulling over 17000 lbs doesn't feel great but I feel a little safer with the beefed up parts

Also added tge Edge w/ Attitude what a difference

That is what we did. The total weight of our current boat and trailer is around 21K pounds, so we sold the F-450 and stepped up to a little Pete to keep things safe and within the legal limits.

I can verify that if you are in an accident, the police will go through your stuff very thoroughly. We were rear-ended while towing the Gladiator a few years ago and the police checked all of our weight stickers, our registration cards and even brought out the portable scales to weigh the truck and trailer. This accident wasn't even our fault, but they still did all of this to be sure that the truck and trailer were within the legal limits. Luckily we had everything in order and everything was legit and within limits.

It is just not worth taking the chance of being over loaded. Even if you don't go far with your trailer, you can be involved in an accident 1 mile from home just as easily as if you were 100 miles from home. With all of the traveling that we did with the last two boats, we were only involved in this one accident and it happened less than 10 miles from home. Just something to think about.
