Can I use either my 00 Yukon denali or my 04 lincoln aviator to tow an 28 foot pantera boat.

The most either of those trucks is rated to tow is 7500 lbs. You are probably going to be right on the bubble. That is more than likely WITH a full weight distribution hitch setup. You will legally need to upgrade to a WD hitch setup or an upgraded Class-V hitch to get to a weight carrying capacity for your setup.

You can dork around all you want, but you won't be comforable until you are in a 3/4 something, Suburban, F250, 2500HD, etc.

I dont know about the lincoln...but the denali should be able to do it no problem power wise. As stated by sydwayz i'd get the WD hitch. I had a 96 yukon...towed a 1976 28ss Cig 150 miles for some work....it pushed the truck a little when stopping but towing was smooth as long as you give yourself plenty of room between others. I also has air bags on my truck to help with the load. :)
