If you are looking for low-end towing power, I would suggest a Roots style, such as Kenne Bell or Whipple. If you are looking for more HP, then I would look to a Procharger or Vortech.

My personal favorite is Kenne Bell, which I am looking to add in the Spring to my Yukon XL 6.0L. Gas milage already sucks, so why not have some power.

Biggest thing is getting it enough fuel and watching out for detonation. However, if you are towing you will probably want to stay fairly mild on the boost. Good luck!

You mention intake, is there an after market one avail?

I've read about the programer, exhaust I think is a waste of money, unless its supercharged.

Supercharging raises cylinder pressures/temps and over an extneded period of time will cause engine wear. Most SC' kits are meant for short bursts.

K & N make intakes for Fords. The exhaust system in combo w/ an intake and tuner will help. It all costs $ .

$ 4200 cdn is cheap for a procharger, but maybe a stroker kit is better.

You might also check into the the roush supercharger, I don't know how they compare to the others but if a roush/ford dealer installs the roush supercharger you are able to keep your warranty. I've been happy with my F150
Good luck

Roush is also coming out with an intercooler for the S/C kit after the first of the year. Word is they are seeing 445 HP and 500 FT/LBs at the crank. Roush is the only kit that I have found that will give you a limited powertrain warranty if installed by a Roush dealer.
