Any tire Guru's?

I recently bought a set of alcoa rims for my truck and put a new set of tires on them, the tire size is 235/85 and the rim size is 16x8, im wondering if there are unsafe tire modifications for towing, ie. too skinny of a tire on a large rim.. Anybody know anything

You SHOULD be alright, the tire was designed for a 7" rim,,the problem usually comes when you do the oppisite(bigger tires/stock width rims).

JUST MY OPINION..Nick

Rims are fine, what is the load range of the tires and which vehicle are they on?

They should be load range "E" for your vehicle on LT tires (Light Truck)
