Lincoln Navigator

Anybody tow with a navigator?

I just bought one to replace my winter/tow vehicle. Rated to tow 8000 lbs, i'm sure it'll be a vast improvement over my '91 suburban 4x4, 350 TBI. Navigator is an 02, w/ standard 5.4L DOHC/4R100.

I'll be towing my 27' fever on a dual axle trailer. boat+ trailer probably 6000-7000 lbs, truck's rated for 8000 lbs. (suburban was only rated for 6000).

You shouldn't have a problem. It's based on the Expedition frame which is based on the 1/2-ton F-150. 5.4 and 4R100 will get the job done for that boat/trailer combo.

The Navigator has an active suspension and will level itself depending on the load. it trailers ok but I like a longer wheel base truck myself
