Any GM Tech's? I need wireing help...
 

1996 k2500 GMC Suburban 4x4 454
i need to know what the wireing harness is behind the dash thats part of the loom of the wiper delay and rear hatch switches.....theres a 3rd plug thats part of that loom. It has 5 wires in it. A black, Gray, Red, White, and Blue....its wraped in a rubber sleeve and has a green tape wrap around the loom......can anyone tell me what thats for???

Find a detailed service manual, it will have the diagrams. I don't have one.

i have the 4 voulume set .....but i cant seem to trace this loom down...wondering if its possibly something either with CA emissions....or possibly a left over look for a Canadian truck model...???
I bought a DRL switch thats an option on the CN trucks for some reason but not here in the US....The plug even fits the switch!!! But when i tried to plug the switch in a turn it on (or turn the lights off) it turned off my radio!!! More like a short of some sort as i had to disconnect the battery before it would work again!!! Not gonna do that again!!! :) Was hopeing someone would have a better schematic avail to them......
