One thing that I didn't like with the speciality carriers is that they had a restricition on driving the car to work. I mostly drive my Cobra onthe weekends, but occasionally I will take it to work on a Fri if it's a nice day. With the specialty carries I was looking at the did not allow arivnig the car to the workplace. I have parking in a gated garage so security is not an issue, but this was still excluded for me. My State Farm policy is an agreed value policy with no restrictions on mileage, etc etc.

Russ,
Sorry, I'm afraid I made a point about your thread being in the GD section and it got moved here. That was not my intention, just trying point out some issues to OSO and this was the result.
Happy Thanksgiving Russ,
Dean

Anybody know who to call???? Thanks.

We had 15 Vette's, 4 Vipers, and two Lambo's.. You can get an exhibition clause if you have more than seven vehicles.... Hagerty is "ok" AIG will rape you..

Cincinnati Insurance underwrote all the cars. Each one was insured for 400.00 a year. There were some that were very rare cars and they took great care of us.

How did the Vipers stack up against the other 2 groups of cars you have had?
BTW, nice collection,
Dean

Dean, no problem. I expected it to be moved here, it was just that I started it in GBD so more people would see it first and I needed the info. Have now checked about five companies and they range from $ 419.00 to $ 473.00 per year.

I am also having my carrier that has my truck policy to see what they will write.

Have a nice holiday Dean. Remember, don't overcook the manatee.....

I've got a 63 convert Vette and a 68 Camaro SS that I recently insured with Hagerty through Allstate for $520 a year for both cars. Been happy so far.
