They are designed to be more user friendly than the ride of the 1 ton. The Rancho 9000's on the other hand can be jacked up to give you a really stiff ride. I guarantee you will not wish you had abought a better shock if you buy the 9000's, the Edelbrocks on the other hand are a coin toss on whether or not they will work for you. The cost of adding a bigger sway bar plus the IAS shocks will be much more expensive than 2 Rancho 9000 shocks anyways..........

I agree with the Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks. I had a Z71 and that is already a stiff suspension (comparatively). Your gonna need more shock if you want to stiffen the ride.

IMO, increase your sway bar diameters f&r (especially front) and add Bilstein's hd offroad gas shocks- very firm dampning yet not bone jaring

if you do the torsion bars you need to have the front alignment reset because raising the adjusters alters the alignment spec's causing tire wear.

I was told that by my mechanic, I received the IAS yesterday and they are going on Monday... I'll see how that changes the ride and then work from there if it isn't stiff enough.

Thanks for all the input.

Stecz.... GM rules.

And if I didn't fix that trailer from the Hooter's rub you sure as sh!t where not the one to help us get going again! Wait till you pull your beast 1600 miles down and 1600 back, if you don't mess with your rig then I'll be impressed or it'll take you a little longer than the 22 hours we did it in. :D:D:D
