Looking for Cheap GMC/Chevrolet
SubscribeI drive a Chevy 2500HD..... But...
Im working up in Biloxi cleaning up after the hurricane, and about 75-80% of the FEMA haulers are driving dodges. That says something to me. I also talked to 2 guys who have ford dully diesels and they both said the same EXACT thing when I mentioned that I was looking to buy a dully... That the ford SUCKS on mileage. I even read last night the same thing byu a member here.

I buy the more expensive Fords over the GM's several times a year. Of course, I expect my trucks to work, not haul groceries, so I buy what I need for the job...

Never heard of an expensive Ford
unless of course your sitting at the fuel pump
or getting it repaired

i think the gvn't got a good deal on leftover dodges.....i have been on the road a LOT latley and i have seen way more F350s with FEMA stickers than anything else towing all white campers...
the government does not buy the trucks, they are private haulers hired to tow. I was refering to the people doing the actual cleanup as well.. not the FEMA trailer haulers. The ones with the 20-30 yard gooseneck dump trailers hauling trash... there where so many with dodges that it was REALLY noticable. I did end up getting another truck, bought a used F350 dully. It was a over the road transport truck has the fleet inspection sticker in the drivers door for the annual inspection.

Okay, it's not a Chevy or under $5,000, but it's a great 4X4 tow vehicle and I'm only about 15 minutes away from you. If you are interested, I might be willing to take something in as a partial trade. Here is the ad in the classifieds:http://www.offshoreonly.com/esvon/page-7880.html
