Re: best truck lift
mwdill if you got the rear kit then go down to a spring shop and have them make you a front pack, do this when somebody wants a custom lift over the usual 15" on the market.

Re: best truck lift
Forgot to add that you will need a drop pitman arm and some other little items not much to purchase also check out www.superdutyheadquarters.com for some pics of tire sizes and rigs for your lift.

Re: best truck lift
My ten inch lift is just American Spring 12 leaf packs, drop pitman arm, extended steering linkage, drop bracket for your track arm, new shocks and extensions for your sway bar. At 6 inches you probably wont even have to do your drive shafts. I did mine but I didn't have to the day I drove it home. I did them later just to be safe. Ford lifts are all pretty comparable. You don't have any crazy bracketry to deal with so theoretically how can one lift be better than the other? All you really need to decide is weather or not you want thick small leaf packs or thin multi leaf packs. There are reasons and beliefs why people think one style is better than the other. I would recommend leafs over blocks in the rear if you tow.
