Before I bought my truck I was looking at doing a duramax conversion on a H1 the guy said there was 800 HP that could be had from that engine.

there are dodges, ford and chevys (all street driven work trucks) around here that dip into the 11's quite often..

I thought Diesel pickups had no top-end. My ex-neighbor's Ford dulley topped out at 85...wouldn't go any faster without red-lining the engine.

i wouldn't say they have no top end, they make tons of torque which is perfect for high speed running, what they lack stock is rpm's due to gear ratios designed to tow... a 3.73 truck can run well over 100 without coming close to redlining...

the duramax in the video is a good example, it is running 12.40's at 6k feet...
