Truck Tires
I have a 2005 Excursion with D rated Pirelli’s on it and they suck for driving in the snow. Can anyone recommend a tire that has the same rating but works well in the snow and still keep the same load rating?

TOYO....Best truck tire I have ever owned, by far

Re: Truck Tires
I love my new Bridgestone Revo's in the snow, I don't even need 4x4 a lot the time now. It was either these or the cooper ATR's which I also hear are very good..

Next set of tires i will be buying will either be the Nitto Terra Grapplers or the Toyo Open Country A/T's.....both load range D and look sweet! Its all gonna depend on who gives me the better deal cause they are both close in price :D

Re: Truck Tires
ive heard good things about both.....neither one has any advantage over the other as far a i have heard yet.....but from talking with people it seems the Toyos get a little more mileage wear out of them over the nittos.....both are nice and quiet on the road for such an agressive looking tread pattern....like i said it will come down to who can give me a better deal :)

Re: Truck Tires
I have never heard of Nitto before. That pic sure does look aggressive. how do they handle in the rain and overall ride?

Re: Truck Tires
What about getting up a weight ramp in a 2500HD WITHOUT 4x4 pulling a Cafe Racer?

Re: Truck Tires
I know it's apples to oranges but the toyo proxes on my maxima are shot after 20K the yoko's before them lasted 54K, I won't buy Toyo's again.
